First Time College Students

First time college students are required to meet with an advisor.  Once you have been accepted to Western Texas College and ALL admissions documents have been received, new students can register for classes with an advisor.

Transfer Students

Are you planning to purse a degree at WTC?
  • If you answered "NO", then you are a transient student.  As a transient student, you must be accepted to WTC.  Once accepted, you will then be given information on submitting a Course Registration form.  This form is ONLY available to you once you have been accepted through our admissions department.  The Course Registration form will be submitted to our Distance Learning Advisor.  Your Course Request form will be processed on a first come first serve bases.  The Distance Learning Advisor will be in contact with you.

  • If you answered "YES" and have taken credit(s) at another institution, then you will be a transfer student.  As a transfer student, WTC will need to receive your Official transcript from any previously attended institutions for transcribing your courses for your intended degree plan.    Please complete the Request for Transcript Audit.  This will notify the Registrar's office to review your transcript and have any previously awarded credit applied to your WTC transcript.
